5, reactions by both slow cooling and quenching were studied after heating at 550 °C for a day. The quenched reaction gave a high-yield product (ca. 80%) of CU-4, while the slow-cooled reaction gave a mixture of the CU-4 phase (ca. 50%) and unknown products. The thermogravimetric analysis results show that the CU-4 phase decomposes at - 560 C, and further studies suggest that the temperature window in which the CU-4 phase exists is ca. 500-550 °C.
