    • Although the different height at the end points should ideally be attributed to long-wavelength fluctuations (small q), we believe that in our experimental setup it is dominated by the wetting of the gap spacers by the invading oil. which changes the physics at the two ends. For this reason, we have ignored 8 mm of the interface at each of the two ends, and imposed the linear correction explained in the text. Measurements of w as a function of the size l of a local window demonstrate that the correction does not modify the measured exponents.
