    • We have not yet studied the λ dependence of the saturation velocity, partly because the range of λ appropriate to numerical simulations is rather small. If λ is too small, the polaron will not be stable and if λ is too large, the extent of the polaron will be very small and the effect of the lattice discreteness becomes too strong.
