    • We may expect to see further discussion of the election as a consequence of a recent workshop. The John F. Kennedy School of Government and the Cornell University Department of Science & Technology Studies, with support from the National Science Foundation, sponsored a workshop on 'The Machinery of Representation: Voting Technologies and the 2000 Presidential Election'. This workshop was co-organized by Sheila Jasanoff and Stephen Hilgartner, and held at Harvard University on 16-17 March 2001.
