He has authored numerous articles and several books on domestic violence, the most recent of which is Assessing Women Battering in Mental Health Services. Robert J. White, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist for the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services, Woodbine Developmental Center, Woodbine, New Jersey. He previously worked as a graduate assistant at the Mid-Atlantic Addiction Training Institute and as a predoctoral intern at a state psychiatric hospital in New Jersey. His clinical and research interests are in the areas of personality assessment, especially the use of the Millon inventories with offender populations, and in the treatment of violent offenders.
