    • we describe another way to store disc information on the disc as it was used in an intermediate version of the DVR system. In that scheme the disc information is written on the position of the second VFO field in the headers inside the lead-in area. All disc information data could then be retrieved by collecting the disc information from 16 subsequent headers in two revolutions. In the final version of the DVR system, this method of storing disc information is no longer applied. Instead, the disc information is written in a dedicated embossed area
