    • The temperature scan experiments reveal that the lamellar and sponge phases intersect at a concentration between Φ = 0.44 and 0.6, as measurements made on the latter sample show only a sharp transition from the lamellar phase to the sponge phase but no MLV phase at lower temperatures. This is in agreement with the equilibrium phase diagram shown in Figure 1.
