    • HTS SQUID application as a quantum roulette noise thermometer
    • In this approach the flux state of a double junction SQUID ring in thermal contact with a heat reservoir is probed at regular intervals to establish a probability distribution from which the absolute temperature can be derived. This quantum roulette noise thermometer has the potential to provide high accuracy in a short measuring time. This method has yet to be demonstrated as a practical low temperature thermometer and will not be discussed further in this paper
