    • α radiation (tube voltage 50 kV, tube current 24 mA, cathode gun 0.1 X 1 mm) is focused with a capillary x-ray optical system to 40 μm full width at half-maximum. At ESRF we collected the powder diffraction data with a fine incident x-ray beam (approximately rectangular shape with dimensions 8 μm by 9 μm or less) of wavelength 0.3738 Å on the FastScan imaging plate. The collected images were integrated to obtain conventional diffraction spectra.
