    • Catalyst separation was accomplished by column chromatography. Filtration of the reaction mixture through a short dry Florisil column (eluent: hexane) and subsequent removal of the solvent at room temperature under vacuum (0.2 torr) furnished pure polymers in high yields. In some cases this process was repeated 2-3 times in order to remove the remaining traces of the catalyst
