19. The enzymatically generated epicubenol was treated with 150 μL trimethylsilylimidazole for 1 h. After quenching with water (1 mL) and extraction with HPLC grade pentane, the pentane extract was purified by passage and through a silica gel column which was eluted with pentane before analysis by GC-MS.
