Remarkably, while making clear that there is indeed a transfer of heat channeled through the random asymmetric motion of the piston, Feynman fails to notice or at least to mention that a similar heat flux will appear in his ratchet and pawl construction, making it impossible to reach Carnot efficiency, cf. [5] for a detailed discussion.
