    • Our choice of hopping rate yields temperature independence of the hopping rate with decreasing energy, and Arrhenius dependence for the jump rate with increasing energy, when the energy shift is greater than the thermal energy. It has the asymptotic behavior as in Ref. 6, but selected in analytical form to enable the analytical solution. Since the characteristic energy scale for the injection trajectory exceeds the thermal energy the results should not be sensitive to this choice.
