    • 15,18 the diffusion coefficient is proportional to the free volume if it is much larger than the minimum void volume necessary for diffusion. In our experiments, the free volume is proportional to (1 - Θ). Therefore, eq 6 may be used to calculate the diffusion coefficient from the initial slope of the Θ versus √t plot, only when Θ → 0.
