23. In calculating the autocorrelation, we employed the standard Metropolis dynamics without the temperature-exchange process.
24. Complete analysis requires the data for lattices with various aspect ratios [see, e.g., H. Rieger and A. P. Young: Phys. Rev. Lett. 72 (1994) 4141], which, is beyond the scope of the present work.
25. Note that estimates of refs. 10 and 11 for the gauge-glass model with screening were obtained in the strong screening limit λ0 → 0, on the expectation that the exponents in the λ0 → 0 limit should be the same as those for λ0 → 0. If the limit λ0 → 0 were special contrary to this expectation, it could be the cause of the observed discrepancy, at least partially.
