    • A small chiral signal from the porphyrin ring has been observed using ZnTPPS absorbed onto chiral polypeptides (Purrello, R.; Bellacchio, E.; Gurrieri, S.; Lauceri, R.; Raudino, A.; Monsu-Scolaro, L.; Santoro, A. M. J. Phys. Chem. 1998,702,8852). ZnTPPS may form only dimers because of water molecule complexation with Zn. These results, however, do not change the physical picture we are proposing.
