    • This could be checked during some of the most recent measurements, at which time a new detector diffraction bank was installed on IN16 below the scattering plane. Diffraction patterns were recorded simultaneously with the inelastic spectra, within the same Q range. The intensities of the Bragg peaks could then be monitored with a reasonable resolution so that their variation upon adsorption and with temperature could be followed.
