    • After the initial submission of this paper we became aware of a preprint (http://xxx.lanl. gov/abs/cond-mat/9907408) by L. Berge, T. J. Alexander and Yu. S. Kivshar, where similar ideas are developed. However, Berge et al. are investigating stability requirements of the 3d condensates and not the possibility for parametric resonance.
