    • Promoters that respond to chemical inducers
    • This review article focused primarily on the development of chemically inducible systems derived from non-plant sources. The copper-inducible system, which is not covered in our review, discussed in this article is of note as copper has profound physiological and toxic effects on plant growth and development.
