A randomized but not blinded or placebo-controlled study of the addition of low-dose prednisolone to disease-modifying anti-inflammatory drugs in RA, which found no evidence of a protective effect in Larsen score, but significantly lower lumbar spine bone mineral density, in the steroid-treated group.
