Adami A, Marks M, Tong D. Relationship between apparent diffusion coefficient and subsequent hemorrhage in acute ischemic stroke. Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), 85th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, November 28-December 3 1999. • This report presents preliminary clinical evidence of a relationship between early ADC values and the risk of secondary hemorrhage, suggesting that it is possible to predict hemorrhage risk on the basis of early DWI findings alone.
