The surface coverage of liposome with 3 (50-60 oligonucleotide units per liposome) was determined by reacting the resulting liposomes with OliGreen (Molecular probes) and following the fluorescence intensity of the resulting liposome assay. The size of the liposomes was determined by dynamic light-scattering to be 220 ± 20 nm.
