59. Karen Fullard is a PhD student working in Bill Amos' laboratory on the genetic analysis of population structure and social organization of long-finned pilot whales. Her main sample set was collected during 1986-1989, in an international collaboration co-ordinated by Dorete Bloch. Greenlandic samples were collected by Mads Peter Heide-Jorgensen, who has been working on the ecology of seals and whales in the North Atlantic for more than 20 years, and Aqqalu Rosing-Asvid MSc, a PhD student working on seal feeding ecology in the North Atlantic. Greg Early is an associate curator of the New England Aquarium.
