The Tatara Iron production site is located at Nittoho near Yokota in the Izumo Prefecture. The visit took place in Feb. 1998, thanks to K. Abiko and many Japanese colleagues. The chemical analysis of the iron comes from a poster in the Iron Museum near Nittoho.
