    • In fact, recent investigations of the quasi-particle properties associated with the Dirac spectrum of a dirty D-wave superconductor [?] indicate that the WZWN term is absent even for the π-flux model. More precisely, in lattice models which exhibit a low-energy Dirac spectrum, the influence of disorder induces WZWN terms for each node. However, when subject to an internode scattering potential, the fields become locked, and the WZWN terms vanish pairwise.
