    • 3B. tBA solution in THF was rapidly added into the initiator system prepared at 0 °C with vigorous stirring. After the reaction was allowed to stand for an appropriate time at 0°C, the polymerization was terminated with degassed methanol and the conversion of tBA was analyzed by GLC. The poly(tBA) was obtained after precipitation in 0.05 M HCl aqueous solution and purified by freeze-drying from the benzene solution.
