The authors report the occurrence of complications secondary to this technique, including ulceration and infection.

An interesting paper that reports severe complications following facial laser surgery. Special recommendations are made for avoiding these pitfalls and a call is made to both practitioners and laser companies to reinforce training and knowledge on laser technology before a surgeon initiates patient treatment.

An interesting paper summarizing the most interesting results of the ASAPS/ ASPRS survey on laser resurfacing and blepharoplasty complications. This paper puts in perspective the relative incidence of different complications secondary to laser resurfacing. It also reflects the most common clinical practices regarding pre-and postoperative treatments and management of complications.
