    • Candida antarctica lipase A from Novo-Nordisk is called lipase SP 526. Novozym 435 is the trade name of immobilized Candida antarctica lipase B (lipase SP 525). Novo-Nordisk no longer supplies Candida antarctica lipases. Although our enzymes still come from Novo Nordisk it is worth mentioning that Boehringer Mannheim now sells the catalysts with the trade names Chirazyme L5 for lipase SP 526 and Chirazyme L2 for Novozym 435.
