28. c2 = 50 mK the physical quantities become exponentially small by opening the remaining down-spin gap. It is also true that above T ∼ 50 mK the specific heat behaves as if half the density of states at the Fermi level remains ungapped. These T-dependences are not seen experimentally. Thus we do not consider it any further.
29. y which has no line node on the equator in general both for the bipolar or planar states. Thus it is not appropriate for the present case.
30. The gap topology of the planar state is the same as in Sauls state. We note, however, that the spin structure is completely different.
