Superterrorism: A Global Threat
-
June
-
The term 'superterrorism' may first have been used by Yonah Alexander in his article 'Superterrorism: a Global Threat', World & I, 86/3 (June 1993) pp.86-92, and was subsequently adopted by Stephen Sloan, during discussions at the US Army War College in May 1995.

Illicit Trafficking in Nuclear Materials
-
January/February
-
In fact, unlike chemical or biological terrorism, radiological terrorism has been used by a conventional terrorist group: Chechen insurgents in November 1995. Obtaining radiological material is almost as simple as acquiring lethal chemicals, and probably more so than biological agents. See Bruce Hoffman with David Claridge, 'Illicit Trafficking in Nuclear Materials', Conflict Studies No. 314/315 (January/February 1999).
