NBCH staff report that several coalitions are working together to develop a core set of common data and information requirements for health plans, along with grading criteria, that span quality, service, and administrative standards. This effort is intended to reduce the amount of coalition resources spent in developing coalition-specific RFIs, standardize terminology, and enable the development of a national database that can be used for benchmarking market or regional performance.
