    • for a discussion of these models
    • o/1-δ, gives the rate of return of the series to the initial level. The smaller the denominator, the more quickly the series returns to its initial level. We tested a variety of models to estimate the impact of the various time periods. In none of these models was the δ statistically significant, indicating that the series rapidly assumed its preintervention level. See McCleary and Hay, Applied Time Series, for a discussion of these models.
