Murnane, an economist, is a professor at Harvard Graduate School of Education and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research focuses on understanding how changes in national economies pose new challenges for educational systems and on the efficacy of alternative strategies for meeting these new challenges. John B. Willett is a professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in quantitative methods. His research focuses on the development of new methods for the analysis of longitudinal data, including innovative applications of individual growth modeling, survival analysis, and covariance structure analysis. Kathryn Parker Boudett is a postdoctoral fellow in Evaluating Programs for Children at the Harvard Children's Initiative. Her research focuses on the effects of educational programs on skill levels and labor market outcomes. She is also interested in developing strategies for improving the design, implementation, and dissemination of program evaluation more generally.
