69. Biographical note: MIKAEL NORDENMARK is a research assistant in the Department of Sociology at Umeå University. His research interests include labour markets, family life and gender, and the relationships between these factors. He is currently working on a project concerning some aspects of unemployment. MATTIAS STRANDH is a research assistant in the Department of Sociology at Umeå University, Sweden. His research interests include labour markets, unemployment and social exclusion. He is currently working on the long-term unemployment project (LUP) at the Department of Sociology, Umeå University.
