    • Bioenergetic medicine involves energy changes within the human body that may be electrically induced by a frequency generator and that may have both a diagnostic and treatment modality. In chelation therapy, EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetate) is injected intravenously to detoxify the body. Transcendental meditation attempts to release the power of the mind and expand the consciousness of the individual. As in spiritual healing and some folk remedies, the modulation may affect people's belief systems and so affect behavioral responses.
