70. There is another related question which might be more relevant to Mozart's early death: did he suffer from renal rickets, a question raised by Minuth? Renal tickets is a set of related conditions with defective calcification of growing bones due to chronic renal disease now called renal osteodystrophy. The evidence for this hypothesis is nil and it remains impossible to prove or disprove it, despite Minuth's plea which merely assembles a set of unspecific manifestations.
