    • The discrepancy between Boussard's Eq. (8) and our Eq. (22) is due to the fact that Boussard's expression describes the voltage seen by the beam (τ = 0) , while our expression is for τ > 0 . Boussard's expression can be obtained easily from ours by using the fundamental theorem of beam loading
