In this review of 27 patients undergoing open reduction and internal fixation for glenoid fossa fractures, anatomic reconstruction was achieved in 89% of cases. Fair and poor outcomes were related to associated injuries. The authors conclude that anatomic reconstruction can be achieved with a low complication rate and good functional outcome.
