    • The resistivity is quite high, which may appear to be surprising for a densely packed film of magnetite. However, taking into account the thinness of the coating, one can hardly expect smaller values. For comparison, a clearly visible mirror-like gold film deposited by magnetron sputtering on an identical glass slide demonstrated a resistivity of 30 MΩ.
