13. An example of the difficulty of this task has been given by Lumsden and coworkers, who, performing the same type of data analysis on the same set of data, arrive to two "rather" different values of β: β = 0.36 ± 0.02 (ref. [11]) and β= 0.345 ± 0.03 (ref. [12]).
