note
-
The experimental results in Refs. 31 and 32 are actually compared with a reparametrized model in Ref. 34. However, there appear to be no significant differences in the predicted surface relaxed geometries between these two works.

A small number of surface Se atoms with two dangling Orbitals may in fact be responsible for the deep surface traps observed in luminescence experiments (Refs. 24 and 50).

note
-
When the shape of a crystallite is a pronounced triangular cylinder, the EMA theory, which treats deviation from spherical shape as a perturbation, is likely to be inapplicable. In such cases, the EMA prediction that band edge triplet and singlet states are rigorously decoupled might no longer apply.
