13. A portion of the library was treated with aqueous trifluoroacetic acid (2 M solution) at 100°C for 4 hr. Analysis of the resulting mixture on a Dionex HPLC system with a PA1 column and pulsed amperometric detection (PAD) showed the galactose, N-acetyl glycosamine and fucose were present at approximately the required ratio.
