Some of the known nitridoferrates, -cobaltates, -nickelates, and -cuprates contain short T⋯T contacts (T = 3d element) within the complex anions, which were discussed as bonding interactions. In all cases, however, the T⋯T units are bridged by at least one nitrido group.
