We concluded that the NMR data described in the reference 3 for the two diastereomers have to be inverted [found : 4 : δH-6 : 4.65 ppm (d, J = 4.4 Hz) ; 5 : δH-6 = 4.46 ppm (d, J = 7.8 Hz)] and we thank Professor K. Soai for his confirmation. Consequently, the relative configurations assigned on this basis in more recent studies need to be revised.
