7. The transition we observe is reminiscent of intermittency in the inter-penetrating spiral regime studied by Andereck C. D. et al. (J. Fluid Mech., 164 (1986) 155), after the pioneering work of Coles D. (J. Fluid Mech., 21 (1965) 385) who gave first evidence of the subcritical character of the transition to turbulence in the Taylor-Couette flow with counter-rotating cylinders.
