    • Pharmacology and functions of metabotropic glutamate receptors
    • 50 values (μM) for glutamate are reported to be 9-13 at mGluR1a, 3-10 at mGluR5a, 4-20 at mGluR2, 4-5 at mGluR3, 3-20 at mGluR4a, and 16 at mGluR6. The higher potencies found for glutamate in our system (Table 1) probably reflect differences in the levels of receptor expression.
