The retention time of the last one was identical to that of the compound obtained after detritylation of 5. For the oligonucleotide 10 additional peaks were identified to 3′-amino-2′,3′-dideoxy-5-methyl-cytosine (Rt = 8 min 55 sec) and 3′-amino-2′,3′-dideoxythymidine (Rt = 11 min 16 sec).
