Table 1 indicates that, in all of the 10 business documents, the respondents' perception score of partner requirement is below 5. This condition, however, does not indicate that only a limited number of respondents receive resistance score (equation 2) of more than or equal to one (recall that the necessary condition for having resistance score of at least one is that a respondent's perception score of partner requirement is above 5 in one or more of the ten business documents). In fact, the majority of respondents have received the resistance score of more than or equal to one (51 percent). Our model, therefore, does not suffer from the limited data variance of the dependent variable.
