20. We have obtained solutions for both square and triangular vortex lattices. The actual vortex lattice structure depends on detailed materials [24, 25]. The physics discussed here is independent of structure of vortex lattice.

24. The dips along the diagonal directions result from nearly square-shaped Fermi surface for a nearly half-filled band. At smaller band-fillings where the Fermi surface is close to a circle, these dips are less pronounced.
