14. We performed TEM observations of the chessboard structure in the Co-Pt in the course of this study to compare the prediction of the simulation model with the observation results. The sample preparation procedure was detailed in Ref. [4]. To image the microstructure, we used a Dark Field technique in a two beam condition on a Jeol 4000FX operating at 400 kV.
